Goa State Government, Directorate of Technical Education of Goa has announced the notification for Goa Common Entrance Test examination (GCET) 2024 to get admission into various Professional Courses like MBBS, BDS, BHMS, B.E., B.Arch & B.Pharm., Allied Health Sciences (BPT, BOT, B.Opt., B.Sc.M.I.T., B.Sc.A.T.) B.Sc in Nursing and Engineering in the State of Goa for the academic year 2024. Every year the examination has been conducted throughout the state.
GCET Eligibility Criteria 2024 for Educational Qualifications
Candidates must be citizens of India. Throughout India in all states students are eligible for this entrance examination. Coming to the educational qualifications candidates who completed and hold the HSSC or equivalent in any recognized university in India with a minimum of 55% for reservation category and 60% for general category students are eligible for this examination.
Non-resident Indians holding Indian passports may also apply for seats reserved under the NRI category. Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) /Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) cardholders are considered eligible for admissions to seats under NRI Category. Foreign Nationals must apply to Govt. of India
Age Limit
The candidate must have a minimum age limit of 17 years old and there is no upper age limit for the applicants.
How to fill the GCET Online Application 2024
Candidates need to download the application form from the official website and take a copy of the printout. The application forms have to be sent offline by post to the given address with a demand draft slip and along with this three identical photographs as indicated, and other relevant certificates (self-attested photocopies), to obtain the Photo-Admit Card, from the Admission Committee.

Applicants need to pay 1500 rupees application fee before the closing date by demand draft in any nationalized banks. demand draft is drawn in favor of “Director of Technical Education” at Panaji – Goa. Those students who are paying after the closing date need to pay 1000 rupees additionally with the application fee. Students admitted in the NRI category shall pay the admission fee (one time) of Rs.1000.
Important Dates (Expected)
The GCET notification 2024 will be released in the month of January. GCET 216 Applications will be available from February onwards and it will be closed in March. Admit cards will be available from March onwards. The entrance examination will be conducted in the month of may and results will be released soon after the examination.
