Panjab University, Chandigarh is inviting the PU-CET online application 2024 from eligible candidates to get admission into post-graduation courses in Masters in Remote Sensing & GIS, Masters in Disaster Management for the academic year of 2024. Every year the Punjab University will conduct the PU-CET Common Entrance Test (CET – PG) at all centers in the state. Candidates who are eligible and interested to get admission in PG courses offered University’s and their affiliated colleges in Panjab University can submit online applications.
Punjab PU-CET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The educational qualifications and eligibility criteria will be different for Masters in Remote Sensing & GIS, Masters in Disaster Management. The details will be given below.
Masters in Disaster Management
Graduation in any discipline with at least 50% of aggregate marks from Panjab University or from any other University recognized by the Panjab State. Admission to Masters in Disaster Management will be done on the basis of merit drawn in PU CET (PG) (50%) and total aggregate of marks obtained at graduation level (50%) to qualify, a candidate must obtain 50% of the marks assigned to the written test. Candidates will be admitted as per merit, based on performance in the written test and qualifying examination.
Masters in Remote Sensing & GIS Bachelor’s Degree with Geography/ Geology/ Geophysics/ Mathematics/Physics/ Botany/ Environment Science / Computer Science/ Urban Planning/ Regional Planning / B.Tech./ B.C.A. or Master’s Degree in Geography / Geology/ Geophysics/ Mathematics/ Physics/Botany/ Environment Science / Computer Science / M.C.A./ Urban Planning/ Regional Planning with at least 50% marks in aggregate. The admission to the course shall be through Entrance Test in which a minimum score of 50% marks mandatory.
Age Limit
The candidate should have a minimum age limit of 20 years old and there will be no upper age limit.
Punjab PU-CET Online Application 2024 How to Apply for CET PG 2024
The application process has to be done online through the official website <strong>http://cetpg.puchd.ac.in</strong>. The detailed procedure will be given below.
At first, candidates should visit the official website
Open the official website http://cetpg.puchd.ac.in
Register your details in the official website.
Completion of registration process login id and password will be sent to your registered email and mobile number.
Download the SBI deposit form and make the payment of the application fee through SBI in Panjab state.
After payment of the application fee 24 hours after the application form has to fill with the required details. Completion of payment upload scanned photograph and signature with required dimensions.
Completion of all the processes takes a copy of the printout for the application form for future use.
